Lucky for us, apples are no longer the “forbidden fruit”.  They have so many benefits and I encourage you all to indugle in them as often as possible. 

1-They contain flavonoids which prevent coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease.

2-They prevent colon, prostate, and breast cancers in women. 

3-They Reduce bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol.

4-They prevent tooth decay. Tooth decay damages the structure of your teeth which is caused by bacteria. The juice of the apples can kill up to 80% of bacteria.

5-They protect your brain from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinsonism.

6-Get healthier lungs.  It has been reported that if you eat 5 apples or more per week you will have less respiratory problems. 

7- They contain Vitamin C and are low in calories.

Cheers to a more healthy life and less trips to the doctor!
