Cellulite Free

Do you have dimples in places you don’t want? Are you embarrassed of showing off those gorgeous legs because of a little cellulite?  Cellulite affects most women–even the young and skinny. To reduce cellulite you must watch your diet and engage in regular physical activity.

What foods to avoid
Some foods may make cellulite appear worse so try to avoid or limit these foods: alcohol, caffeine, refined foods, soda, salty foods, and fatty foods.

Exercise Plan

Do both aerobic and anaerobic exercises.  Cardiovascular exercises such as walking, running, or swimming are great because they stimulate circulation.  I can’t emphasis the importance of strength training! As we age cellulite becomes worse because of weight gain, our skin thinning, and our connective tissue thickens.  The average woman loses 5 lb of muscle and gains about 15 lb of fat every 10 years.  Fat takes up more space than muscle so it bulges out (cottage cheese).  Exercises such as squats and leg curls are great for improving the appearance of cellulite.
