Tea-slims, beautifies, & increases smartness

This powerful concoction is perfect for hot summer days!  It’s low in calories, full of anti-oxidants, and delicious.  Drink it to control weight, boost immune system, aid digestion, lower cholesterol, fight cancer, boost brain function, etc…!

Blackberry Iced Tea Recipe

Servings: 6

INGREDIENTS

6            cups water
12          blackberry herbal tea bags
8            3-inch-long cinnamon sticks
1            tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1            cup unsweetened cranberry juice
Sugar substitute to taste
Crushed ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large saucepan, heat water to just before boiling. Add tea bags, 2 cinnamon sticks and ginger. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for about 15 minutes.
  2. Use a small fine-mesh colander and place it on top of a pitcher and pour the mixture inside.  Add the juice and sweetener to taste. Refrigerate.
  3. Pour tea in a chilled glass with crushed ice and garnish with cinnamon sticks. Serve immediately.
