Blueberries are low in calories, high in fiber, vit. C and antioxidants.  This super food can help boost memory, lower blood pressure, may also help ward off muscle fatigue, prevent cancer, reduce cholesterol, and help with urinary tract infections.  They should be eaten often and here is a delicious and easy way to get your fix.   

Blueberry Smoothie

Serving: 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup silken tofu

DIRECTIONS

Combine berries, banana, apple juice and tofu in a blender.  Blend until smooth.
