Does cellulite make you want to hide underneath your clothes?  Do you want a smooth, cottage cheese free body?  Well cellulite doesn’t have to be the dreaded c word if you take every possible precaution to avoid it.  Remember that cellulite becomes more noticeable with age because the skin gets thinner and it generally strikes people in their 30’s.  It doesn’t appear over night, it takes time to accumulate under the skin.  Start fighting it today and soon you will have a body to die for!

The Cellulite Solution

Below are proven ways to fight the lumps and bumps.  If you exercise regularly, you’ll decrease your odds of developing cellulite.

  1. Eat healthy.  Avoid or limit alcohol, caffeine, refined foods, soda, salty foods, and fatty foods.
  2. Do 20 minutes of daily cardio exercise such as walking or jogging on a treadmill making sure to keep your heart rate at about 70-80% of maximal heart rate.
  3. Do 20 minutes of strength training 2-3 times a week with five exercises for the upper body and five for the lower body.

The video below provides some great exercises for the lower body that will tone, tighten, and diminish the appearance of cellulite.
