Gorgeous Skin Salad

Who hasn’t heard the saying, “you are what you eat.”  We all know that eating bad is bad for our health but did you know that it can effect the condition of your skin as well!  When you eat lots of junk, your skin is one of the first places it will be noticed. Your skin needs the necessary vitamins and minerals for collagen production, wrinkle prevention, moisture, and a healthy glow.  The recipe below is a good source of protein, vitamins A, K, C, B6, Iron, Calcium, Potassium, and Fiber.  Here is to radiant skin!

Salad with Pomegrante

Serving: 2


  • 1 Pomegranate
  • ½ Cucumber, cut in half and sliced
  • 1 stem of Celery, sliced
  • 1 handful of Walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 big handfuls of Arugula
  • ½ Red onion, finely sliced
  • ½ Lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Dash of salt and pepper


Take out the seeds of the pomegranate. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
