Get rid of stubborn fat w/spot exercises

I get so many questions on how to burn fat off from a specific body part such as:

How can I have a thinner neck?  How can I lose my thunder thighs and butt?  How can I lose those love handles?

Now days there are so many programs, devices, and infomercials claiming that you can burn fat off from any body part you want just by exercising/spot reducing that specific body part.  As nice as that would be, who wouldn’t like to keep their breasts while losing their flabby arms and thighs, don’t completely believe the hype!  When you do a sit up, you burn calories therefore fat is decreased from all over your body (your butt, thighs, and stomach)—not just the muscles involved in the exercise.  Spot reduction exercises may firm up the areas but will not make them disappear.

If you have too much fat in one certain area, you must lose weight all over to get rid of that problem area.  The best way to do this is by combing exercise (aerobic and strength training) with a healthy eating plan.  To lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories or burn off more calories than your body uses.  To lose 1 pound of fat in a week, you have to eat 3,500 fewer calories (that is 500 fewer calories a day), or you have to burn off an extra 3,500 calories.
