How she lost 100 pounds

The former “fat actress” has lost 100 pounds recently and is now flaunting a size 4 down from a size 14.  She has battled with her weight for many many years and hit the scale at her heaviest weighing almost 300 pounds.  Even though she has been the target of endless fat jokes she never went under the knife to take the weight off instead she took it off with hard work.

Here is how she did it:

  • Lots of dancing
  • Avoiding white sugar, cake, ice cream, and alcohol
  • Seasoning food with ginger and adding freshly grated ginger to soups, stews, and stir-fries
  • To stay full longer and to keep from overeating, she eats foods providing 5 grams of dietary fiber per serving. Also she eats a high-fiber carbohydrate (satisfying fuel) source and a low-fat protein source (sustainer) at each eating time.
  • Eating within an hour and a half after waking up and every 4 hours throughout the day to keep her metabolism up.
