Seaweed Diet

Eat seaweed to fit in your skinny jeans? WHAT?  Can this algae really help with weight loss? YES!

Researchers at Newcastle University in England have found that Alginate, a fiber found in sea kelp, can reduce the absorption of fat intake by up to 75%.  How?  It does this by inhibiting fat absorption.  So for those of you who want to shrink your waist line or who want to maintain your weight, eat seaweed!  To take the weight off even faster, combine it with a regular exercise program and healthy eating plan.

Ways to get more seaweed in your diet

  • Have sushi
  • Try Miso soup
  • Add it to salads
