Tone Your Body Workout

Question: Im just starting to do regular workouts, basically i dont want to lose weight, i just want to tone up and get slightly more lean and defined muscles overall the body.  Ive been looking up on the net about how to schedule the workouts but its so difficult because there are sooo many.could you please post a blog about this topic, as a beginner, how should one design the workout over a week so one can target all the muscle groups..etc.

Answer: I love following Body for Life exercise plan.  It worked for me and all my friends, family and everyone I suggested it to.  You only have to do 20 min. max aerobics every other day and 45 min. strength/weight training.  For example:

  • Sunday-Aerobics
  • Monday-Upper Body
  • Tuesday-Aerobics
  • Wednesday-Lower Body
  • Thursday-Aerobics
  • Friday-Upper Body
  • Saturday-Off

Week 2 do the same routine again but this time starting with lower body.  I did a post on Body for Life so make sure to check it out.
