Do you have an event, party, or wedding to attend?  Are you dreading having to attend because you are heavier than you would like to be and now the event is approaching and you don’t have time to lose the weight?  Well don’t worry my pretty!  Here are some simple tips that you can do now to look thinner instantly:

Do these fashion must dos

  • Wear dark colors like navy, black, and gray.  If you want to look even slimmer, try wearing all one color.
  • Wear Spanx, shapewear undergarment, or corsets to lift, tighten, and smooth your body to fit and look gorgeous in the tightest dress.
  • Wear clothes that accentuate your positives to draw eyes toward your best feature and away from your problem areas.  For example, if you are trying to hide a thick waist wear a dress that’s not too snug that shows off your shapely legs.
  • Wear clothes that fit right, not too tight and not too baggy.

Mind your posture

Having good posture is so important not only does it make you look more confident but it can make you look like you have lost some poundage!  Your ears should be in line with your shoulders and your chin parallel to the ground and level your hips and tuck your tailbone to find a neutral spine position and keeping your feet parallel.  If you want to improve your posture, take up yoga and pilates and do some back and abdominal exercises.

Get a fake tan

Tanning can make your body look more toned.
