Delicious Post Workout Snack

Pushed yourself a little harder than you should have at the gym? Now you’re feeling achy all over.  Want an excellent post recovery workout treat? Go Greek! Yogurt that is.  Why?  It is high in protein and low in carbs and thick in texture which will leave you feeling full for hours!  Protein is needed for muscle repair and carbs restore your energy stores which allows you to workout again the next day without feeling sluggish and sore.  Have 1 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt within 60 minutes after a workout.

Greek isn’t your thing? Opt for plain, low-fat varieties. If you don’t like it plain, add some fresh or frozen berries and granola.
