Stress Snacking

Are any of you stress eaters?  I sure am!!  I eat when I am stressed, depressed, happy 🙂

Stress snacking can be dangerous if you’re trying to watch your figure because it is an easy way to pack on pounds.  When we are stressed we tend to crave more fatty, salty and sugary foods and we eat without being aware of how much we are eating.  Next time try the following instead of munching:take a quick walk or chat with a coworker for a few minutes when you’re feeling frazzled.  Often a small break in routine is enough to help cravings pass.

    This is so true. What works also for me is if I still feel hungry I go for a handful of nuts, fruit or some cheese. That should take care of the problem.
